A Tour of China's Mengtian Space Station Lab with Shenzhou-16 Astronauts

Chinese astronauts living on the China Space Station organized a tour of the Mengtian space lab and explained how the facilities work at the beginning of "Tiangong Class" season four, livestreamed on September 21, 2023. The China Space Station is officially called the Tiangong Space Station. Tiangong can be translated as 'Sky Palace'.

Mengtian ('Dreaming of the Heavens'), is a major module of China's Tiangong space station. It is the second Laboratory Cabin Module launched, after Wentian, and the second module to extend the existing Tianhe core module of the station. It was launched into orbit from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in Hainan, China, in October 2022.

Tiangong Class is a special China space science education session. The taikonauts (astronauts) act as teachers in space and interact with students, especially teenagers. The event was livestreamed worldwide by China Media Group.
